At the completion of the course, delegates will have an understanding of:

- Why use Google Adwords
- Who can use it
- The terminology used by the application
- What makes a good Adwords advertisement
- How Google ranks advertisements and the bidding process
Delegates will also be able to:
- Launch their web browser
- Create a Googlemail account (optional)
- Create a Google Adwords account
- Research their market
- Look at and understand examples of Adwords advertisements
- Plan and create an Adwords campaign
- Create an Adwords group
- Create multiple Adwords advertisements with an Adwords group
- Select appropriate keywords and phrases for search terms
- Use the Adwords tools for Keyword selection and Traffic estimation
- Use the Adwords Analysis tools for Change history and Conversion tracking
- Use Google's help facility
Who Should Attend:
Small business owners with a website or blog, who want to promote their business via the website. It doesn't matter whether they have designed their own website or had it developed and looked after by someone else.
In larger businesses, delegates can be drawn from many areas of the business, for example, IT, sales, marketing or management.
Pre-requisites:
No specific prior knowledge of Google or Google Adwords is needed.
This
course makes no assumptions about the computer operating system used in
your training environment as most of the functionality comes from your
web browser. Any
web browsers acceptable to Google Analytics should be acceptable for
this course. However, please note that the browser used for developing
this course is Mozilla Firefox, the operating system is Ubuntu/Linux and
any screen shots have been made in this environment and may differ
slightly in look and feel if you are using Internet Explorer, Safari,
Google Chrome, other browser or a different operating system.
To make
the best use of this course, delegates should already have an online
presence with their own domain or blog, that they wish to promote using
Google Adwords. However,that is not essential to follow this course.
Delegates are asked to being their own laptops/iPads to the course.
